All dogs in our program will have necessary vaccinations & are heartworm tested. We require an application be completed. We will check vet & personal references and a home visit is required as part of our adoption process. All dogs in our program are/will be spayed/neutered.

Current 2022 adoption fees for DFW GSR Dogs are as follows:
German Shepherd Puppies (8 wks to 1 year) $400.00
German Shepherd Dogs (1 year to 6 years) $350.00
German Shepherd Dog Seniors (7 yrs +) $250.00

German Shepherd Mixed Breed Puppy (8 wks to 1 year) $350
German Shepherd Mixed Breed (1 year up) $250.00

Adoption Application

We screen all potential fosters and adopters with the goal of ensuring the best fit for each dog and family. Adopting a GSD in our program requires the completion of an application. Personal & vet references, along with a landlord reference, if renting, will be checked. A home visit is required to ensure a safe and secure environment.

German Shepherds are loyal, devoted, and protective companions, but not necessarily the best breed for everyone. The dogs in our care have already been through enough major life changes and emotional hardship. We are committed to making the best match possible for each of them to ensure the rest of their lives are spent in a responsible, committed and loving environment.
